Rice's: Not Just a Pharmacy
After more than fifty years as a staple in the Corvallis community, Rice's Pharmacy and Gifts is still providing specialty and hard to find pharmaceutical products and services, and boasts a fun and unique gift department to boot – making now a great time to reacquaint you with the Corvallis favorite. Established in 1958 by Johnny Rice, the business is now a modern marriage of personal pharmacy care and a gift selection that rivals the best in town.
Rice's carries hard to find wound care supplies, ostomy supplies, diabetic supplies and Durable Medical Equipment – including wheelchair, crutches and walker rentals. Diabetic counseling, immunizations, medicine management and bubble packing are also available. Delivery is available at a small cost for residential customers as far away as Lewisburg and Philomath, and Rice's outstanding pharmacists are committed to giving each and every customer thorough and personal consultations.
Rice's will also bill all major insurance companies, giving you the highest level of customer service at the same co-pay price.
If you don't see an over-the-counter item on the shelf, in many cases the pharmacy clerks will be happy to special order it for you.
At the front end of the store, the gift department has items for every taste. Rice's specializes in gifts for the home and kitchen as well as jewelry, bath and beauty products, gifts for babies and new moms, gifts for Beavers' fans, holiday merchandise and a large greeting card selection. To add something extra special, try the rich, chocolaty and heavenly Sweet Shop Truffles, great for that "little something" extra to go along with your greeting card.
The many displays throughout the store feature popular brands such as Baggallini everyday and travel bags, Crabtree & Evelyn cosmetics, and Willow Tree figurines, just to name a few. And for those lacking the time or creative inspiration, free gift wrapping is always available.
If you stop in on a Saturday, many times you will be welcomed with free samples from the gourmet food and snack lines, as well as other sale events or promotions.
With an aim to be involved with the community and the arts, Rice's Gifts, in cooperation with Albany Civic Theater, is an authorized ticket seller for local theater productions. When stopping in, be sure to inquire about the season's latest play. Rice's also participates in Points for Profit, a program that turns customer's donated receipts into money for 30 local non-profit organizations
